-need a low cost VPN?

If you need to access information from your office server, computer, or laptop now you are able to with out buying and managing a VPN (virtual-private-network). Check out www.goTOmyPC.com while this will cost $19.99 a month, it is completely worth every dollar.

Let’s say that you are out on a meeting with a client but you need to access a presentation that is on your office computer. All you need to do is log in with your user name and password on the website and you can take over the office PC to access the files. It would be the same scenario for the business owner that wants to access information while he or she is on vacation and sitting with their laptop on the beach. Log into the web and then you can access information off of your office computer.

PDF Business Tool

Check out this site: www.pdfonline.com

I use this website all the time to create professional documents. You can easily turn your scanned document, Microsoft Word document, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and more into a PDF. A PDF file can not be edited, it’s easy to open the file, and in most cases the file size is smaller.

Basically how it works is that you go to the web site, press the browse for file button, type in the name of the file, and type in the email address of where you want the PDF sent. It is sent directly to your email in just a few moments.

The Job Hunt in 2007

Job searching can be very time consuming, costly, stressful, and difficult to manage if you are currently working in a full time position. It’s not a good idea to make your employers aware that you are looking for a new job. On the other hand if you find a new job that is willing to pay you more your current pay and you have proved to be a good employee, you can bring up the job to your employer and ask for a salary adjustment, that is what they call leverage.

I recommend using all available resources like http://www.careerbuilder.com/, http://www.monster.com/ and craigslist.com. It can be very tedious but it is important to update and save a change on your resume daily; this helps your resume appear at the top of the list. On craigslist.com I would recommend that you post your resume with out your name and contact info so that you don’t get loads of spam mail. Also on craigslist.com you should have some catchy title as the description.

Your resume should be very professional and should be changed several times to fine tune your experience and achievements. You should also set up the “quick apply” feature on the applicable websites above. I would recommend that you apply for 50 to 100 jobs a day until you receive a job inquire that is close to what you are looking for.
